August 10, 2011 Oral Chelation for a Toxic World
The world has received a lot of improvements in terms of technology and economy. Alongside of its advancements is the increasing number of toxic materials. Wherever you go, you can find toxic materials everywhere—in the alley, or even at the confines of your home. Toxins are everywhere. In fact, you can find these toxic chemicals in your body as well. But fret no more over this prevalent evil. Oral chelation has been introduced as a solution.
So what is oral chelation? It comes from the Greek word “chele”, which means claw. It is a non-medical, non-surgical treatment that is very safe and dependable. It is a type of care that removes toxic heavy metals and excess calcium in the body, as well as cholesterol that clogs the inner walls of the blood vessels. The chelator grips the atom of a toxic material like a claw. The so-called harmful chemicals are then removed from the body making its way from the urinary system, making an improved blood flow throughout the body and a decreased level of toxic substances in the body.
Though some metals are essential to human health, and are even found inside our body, other metals need to be removed as it will already be toxic. Though we need zinc in the body to fight off anemia, high amount of zinc can result in a deficiency of copper, a mineral that is also important in making our bodies strong and healthy. Heavy metals can also increase the acid found in the blood. Toxic metals set up conditions that lead to inflammation in arteries and tissues, causing more calcium to be drawn to the area as a buffer, and this will not be healthy for the body.
Because of heavy exposure to toxic materials nowadays as well as constant usage of heavy metals in industrial processes and products, mercury-amalgam dental fillings, lead in paint and tap water, chemical residues in processed foods, and products like soap, shampoos, lotions, make ups and the likes, there is no escape in the toxic materials.
Fortunately, the oral chelation therapy was born. This therapy delivers chelators or antioxidants with some minerals and other nutrients orally. It removes the clots in the blood vessel walls that are very bad for the heart, brain, feet, legs, and other parts of the body. EDTA or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid has also been introduced. This is a medical method used to remove toxic metal from the human body. It also acts as a powerful antioxidant that protects blood vessels from free radical damage, and is a good way of chelating toxic heavy metals and excess minerals in the blood vessel.
Many researches have been made regarding oral chelation and EDTA, and all proved to be very promising, especially in the elimination of toxins and dangerous arterial plaque in hundreds of medical studies. These are studies that have been made and funded for years all over the world.
